The IQF Certification is highly regarded among experts in the Lean Six Sigma community. It is a software-based exam, which may be taken at the student’s leisure (rather than at pre-determined times and locations), and it requires the use of analytical software in developing your exam responses. In this way, the IQF certification testing is much more realistic than certification exams which do not allow for the use of statistical software. With only the use of a calculator, it’s quite difficult to have a realistic estimate of a Black Belt’s technical skills. 

Upon successful completion of the IQF exam, students receive a Black Belt Certification (without projects) from the IQF  Students can later submit projects to the IQF for evaluation to receive the “complete” certification. The Certification with Projects requires completion of an Assessment Form by your project team Sponsors and team members.

The IQF Study Guide is an exact copy of the certification exam, with different data. (In fact, each time you generate a question in the study guide or exam, the software will generate randomized data so that each instance of the question is unique). In this way, the study guide provides practical exercises in preparation for the certification exam.
