eBooks
We are pleased to offer each of our books in electronic format, for use on computers and in most popular tablets. While some of our customers choose eBooks to save shipping costs, many find their portability an asset when traveling, whether abroad or simply between home and office. Still others recognize the enhanced search capabilities that electronic books offer. Later editions of the eBooks (e.g. Six Sigma Handbook, Fourth Edition) include direct links to online study guides, videos and other useful content such as example files.
The McGraw Hill eBooks use the Adobe Digital Edition software (not Adobe Reader) that may also be downloaded (free) from the Adobe website. We welcome you to try the Digital Editions product prior to purchase, using any of the sample eBooks Adobe has available for your review. See also: Common questions about eBooks.
Support for these McGraw-Hill eBooks is provided directly through the McGraw-Hill Support portal or by contacting their Support Team via email (MHP-ebooks@mheducation.com)).
We recommend the following procedure for downloading and installing your eBook:
- Add the domain mhprofessional.com to your list of safe senders in your email application.
- Before downloading the book, you MUST download THEN INSTALL the free Adobe Digital Editions software from http://www.adobe.com/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html. The Adobe Digital Edition software is required to open, view, navigate, and print your eBook. THIS IS NOT THE COMMON ADOBE READER OR ACROBAT SOFTWARE. (Note the page linked above on the Adobe website may also request you to download and install Adobe Shockwave. This is not the Adobe Digital Edition software needed for the book, and is only necessary to view the webpage completely).
- Before downloading the book, you should read the Adobe Digital Edition FAQ at http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-editions/faq.html. This link contains information regarding the necessary download method to allow access to your eBook on multiple devices. If you do not download as required, access to the eBook will be limited to the one device you have downloaded to.
- After entering your eBook Access Code into the McGraw-Hill webpage, copy the screen so you have a record of what you entered. You will receive an email containing the link to download your eBook. If you do not receive this email, you should search your Spam and Junk folders. The Access Code may be used only once, so ensure your email has been correctly entered before using the Submit button.
- Your eBook download link will only work ONE time. Please ensure you save the eBook the first time you click on the link. (Look for your browser to prompt you).
