Champion Training: Lean Six Sigma course on executive leadership (see agenda) includes workshops to achieve both immediate and longer-term outcomes including:

  • Identify & discuss potential stumbling blocks to the Lean Six Sigma deployment;
  • Align project selection criteria with critical strategic business objectives;
  • Define methods for project sponsorship, approvals and verification of gains;
  • Establish general goals for Lean Six Sigma Leadership Team and metrics to gauge progress;
  • Discuss human resource challenges and organizational cultural issues; Develop initial communication plan;
  • Define an implementation schedule.

Lean Six Sigma Champion Training for Operational Management (see agenda) achieves a number of additional outcomes necessary to commence Black Belt training, Green Belt training and project deployment, including:

  • Selecting the Green Belt and Black Belt candidates;
  • Establishing the project selection criteria and sponsorship methodology;
  • Selecting potential Lean Six Sigma course projects for the first wave Black Belts and their teams.

Belt Training & Project Mentoring: Used in conjunction with the online Lean Six Sigma course work allows students to learn at their own pace, then apply the methods in on-site workshops facilitated by Paul. Topics addressed within the on-site Lean Six Sigma classes can be modified according to the particular needs of the organization, to maximize the use of the budgeted on-site days. Example on-site Lean Six Sigma training programs include:

  • Five-day On-site Green Belt Training: The two-day Champion training topics, with three additional days on the DMAIC/DMADV methodology.
  • Nine day On-site Black Belt Training: Provides the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC/DMADV topics used in Green Belt and Black Belt training; Often supplemented with Two-day Champion Training if Champions have not been trained, or the Six Sigma deployment has not been sufficiently developed.

SPC Training:  Our popular online SPC training can be delivered on-site by Paul Keller, author of SPC Demystified. Typically a two-day on-site class, the agenda can be customized or expanded to include special sessions for data entry personnel and more detailed sessions for the support engineers, as well as SPC software training using any of our SPC software.
