Design & Factor Selection
Design Types & Categories
Factor measurement units are used only for mixture designs. When the experimental levels of a factor are measured in different units than the consistent measure of the design, a conversion between units is necessary. For instance, if the factor is measured in gallons but the consistent measure of the design is in pounds, a conversion: FMU = CMU * ( pounds / gallon), is required.
