Parameter Design - Parameter design is a process that seeks to set main factors so as to achieve a response objective (Maximum, Minimum, Target) while at the same time allowing subsidiary factors to vary in a "customary" way. The combinations of subsidiary factors are used with the design array in main factors to form replicates of the main factor design. The resulting variation can be evaluated in a Dispersion Analysis or Tolerance Design analysis.
