Repeated Measurements are repeated runs systematically taken without changing conditions between individual measurements. They tend to decrease the variance of the experimental error, because they are not subject to the full range of casual factor variation. They should not be used as repeated runs, but are sometimes useful in establishing the short-term stability or repeatability of the process or measuring equipment.
