Coefficient

The multiplicative term preceding each parameter in the regression equation. For example, in the Regression equation Response = 3.5 (Factor A) + 4.2 (Factor B) + 1.6 (Factor AB) + 25.64, 3.5 is the coefficient of Factor A and 25.64 is the coefficient of the Mean term (i.e. in simple linear regression, the y-intercept).
