A Process Monitor display shows the current alerting status for key process variables in SPC software.
Process Monitor software provides a convenient Dashboard display of the critical characteristics you want to monitor across a process, department or organization. The display provides a quick view of the status of these key process metrics (or indicators (KPI)), particularly whether the process metrics are stable (i.e. in control) or not stable; meeting requirements (i.e. capable) or not meeting requirements. Drill-down on these metrics with process monitor software will provide control charts with details on the process dynamics, and allow for stratification of the data in a given chart based on traceability fields (e.g. lot or bath numbers, suppliers, material type, etc.). Typical applications require data that is native to various software applications, such as LIMS or ERP systems, customer management (CRM), as well as internal quality system software, including SPC. These dashboard displays are most useful when integrated with alerting functions to automatically email or text you that a key metric is out of spec or out of control, without the need to even open the SPC software! These alerts may be acknowledged so you're only notified of new events.
